What a long day!!!!  We will never, ever complain about Winnipeg traffic again!!!!  Took us almost 2 hours to get around (not through) Chicago.  Four to six lanes of traffic bumper to bumper at a snails pace.  Decided to take a detour around Indianapolis as it was rush hour, so we took some state highways through some picturesque small towns.  Very pretty but very slow too!  With the hour lost to the time change it was a 12 hour day and we were all very glad to get out of the car.

We hope tomorrow brings easier traffic, but are very excited that we are 2/3 of the way there!

*Addition by Michelle:  No interesting food tidbits for you today.  Sorry mom.  But guess what?  I worked out today when we got to the hotel!  12 hours in the car made me a little squirrely.  I needed to do something.  But now I'm drinking a beer and popping cheese curds, so I'm balancing it all out.....
